One of my favorite things about living in Georgia is the fall. Fall, to me, equals red wine, warm meals, cozy fires and soft blankets. Where we live, there are trees galore that all turn their leaves around the same time to beautiful hues or red, yellow, orange and green. Lucky for us, around this time of year most of the pesky bugs are gone too which opens up the possibility for outdoor dining. The weather has been perfect here recently. I felt inspired to host some of our friends for an al fresco dinner in our backyard. If the weather cooperates for Thanksgiving, I'd love to repeat the idea then!My absolute favorite new pieces I have received for our table top are these glasses from Juliska. They are sturdy, gorgeous, and instantly add class and charm to the table. I've owned several different brands of wine glasses and so far, these have been my favorite to drink from and host with. They also carry beautiful matching votives and vases

I love adding natural elements to my decor like eucalyptus and pine cones. They add such a nice touch and are easy to find.
I love to collect various cutting boards and cake stands. I decided I wanted to add several wood elements to tone down the formality of certain pieces such as the silverware and fancy food. I found a wood slab to use as a server for a grilled pizza and a marble and wood cake stand to serve my cheeses on. I decided to have the cheese elevated so it would be more accessible for everyone at the table.
My go-to fall foliage is eucalyptus. It smells incredible and it is so easy to work with. I made a eucalyptus garland using wire, scissors and 6 bunches of eucalyptus from Trader Joes. On top of the runner, I placed several varying heights of candles to help with the ambience and to provide light as the sun was setting. I love to buy my candles from IKEA usually because they are inexpensive and I use them so much. I also love buying candles from Pottery Barn because they last so long.
For guests to stay extra cozy, I placed blankets on chairs and a few pillows behind the backs of chairs. I always aim to tackle my guests' wishes before they even have to ask. This keeps everyone at the table at relaxed.
I recently received some gorgeous new flatware from Oneida that I love. The pieces are classic and are meant to be passed down through generations to come. I think they look so beautiful on the table, especially as we move closer to the holidays.
We invited some of our closest friends. These two love birds are recent newlyweds!
Enjoy your own cozy soiree by using my tips and shopping the items from this post.
I'd like to thank Juliska for sponsoring this post.
