Powder Room Reveal

Refined elegance with a touch of Southern charm.

This powder room was inspired by the grace of old Southern manors. The portrait, by Janet Hill, was the inspiration behind the look.

This punchy peach hue and thoughtful design choices breathed new life into this intimate space, turning it into a drop of sunshine that enchants all who enter.

Feast your eyes on the remarkable journey of our powder room metamorphosis. Where a once dull and dark blue space with outdated floors has blossomed into a vibrant oasis of feminine elegance.

Farewell to Darkness

The powder room's transformation began with bidding adieu to its dull and dark blue palette. The decision to embrace a vibrant and uplifting color scheme was the first step in injecting new energy into the space. Enter the sun-kissed world of peach, a hue known for its warm and inviting nature, perfect for brightening up even the gloomiest corners. For this space, I decided on a high-gloss shade of Sherwin William’s Jovial - a pinkish peach shade.

Boring Tile to Elegant Style

Outdated floors were replaced to complement the new vision for the space. Light and neutral materials, such as natural stone or porcelain tiles with soft veining, were chosen to provide a clean and timeless foundation. This flooring upgrade not only brightened the space further but also added a touch of sophistication.

Let There Be Light

To maximize the effect of the sunshine-inspired transformation, strategic lighting choices were made. Combining recessed lighting, elegant double-head sconces, and our sunburst antique French pendant fixture ensured that every corner of the room was beautifully illuminated. Additionally, the incorporation of the mirror and reflective surface of the paint amplified the artificial light, creating an enchanting glow. For the sconces, I opted for a pink-hued custom shade.

Feel Like a Woman

Embracing feminine elegance was a key element of the powder room's revitalization. The delicate sink base and glossy wall finish transformed the bathroom into a work of art. Accents of gold in fixtures and hardware added a touch of glamour, while soft shades completed the overall sense of refined femininity.
